Off to the countryside to Stonehenge, Bath, then Plymouth's Mayflower steps from which the Pilgrim fathers (& mothers) set sail for the New World.  Polperro fishing village & former pirate hideout, through Dartmoor, return to Exeter and a Devon village featuring a 100 year-old parish church & pub built for the church builders, ending with Exeter Cathedral.  Then off to Glastonbury Abbey ruins, burial place of King Arthur, through Somerset returning to Cardiff, Wales.  On through Wye valley to Tintern abbey ruins, crossing Welsh marshes at Hereford to Tudor town Ludlow in Shropshire, to Chester & Cathedral.
